This billet part is for the XMOD Evo Car. It is milled to perfection from a single block of billet aluminum. The bright silver finish is not only beautiful, if you happen to scratch or ding it, its the same color throughout. Billet parts are also more durable than factory parts and perform with greater precision.

  • Application Notes:This motor mount is designed to use no spacer at all with the GPM XMOD Evo Delrin Motor Pinion Gear - 8 Tooth and the GPM XMOD Evo Car Delrin Main Gear shown under related items. If you want to use other gear combos from the XMOD Evo Stage 2 Motor Kit, you can use the spacers in the motor kit, but you will need to trim them halfway up the rounded area. Use a thinner spacer than is called for, and shoot for a loose gear mesh. Make sure your gears are not binding as this is a common problem if you are using this approach. Running the 8 Tooth and the GPM XMOD Evo Car Delrin Main Gear which do not require a spacer places the motor in direct contact with the sink and yields maximum heat dissipation.
  • Team AtomicMods Comments:This is a great part that will not melt down with high temperature motors like the plastic part, in fact it greatly helps with heat dissapation since it is cut from a solid block of 6061 aluminum. When I visited GPM in Hong Kong, they told me this is one of the most complex parts they produce with 45 operations required. - Rob

I concur on the high marks for this part. It's basically a giant heat sink (and also lowers the center of gravity) that is a sight to behold. This really sings when you use the billet suspension (knuckles & arms), as the precision of these parts is greatly improved over the stock.

This is an amazing piece, very lightweight and durable. It is a great investment, and when I finish with the chassis upgrades, i'm gonna get a cool and crazyfast motor. Thanks Rob!

Five stars is not enough cool factor for this part this is on of the best parts i've bought for my car. It's amazingily light, and the fact that it's one big heat sinc is well worth it alone. There also the fact that it looks just so dang sexy!!!!
