This rim light set inserts into the back of the AWD wheels and shines through creating a very cool effect. They turn on as your wheels begin spinning and turn off when they stop. It uses standard watch batteries that can be purchased at any Radio Shack, but the included cells will last for hours of driving.

  • Application Notes:These fit Mini-Z rims, iWaiver, as well as XMOD Gen1*, but not XMOD Evos**.  The best fit is on rims without an extreme offset, but they will fit even those, they simply protrude out the back of the rim as shown under "More Pictures". The photo there is a 3.5mm offset rim.

    * To use these on Gen1 you must have Ridgeless Wheels, with 10.5mm wide wheels in the back. The Ridgeless Wheels are deep on the back side and allow the discs to recess far enough to clear the knuckles and a-arms, almost... A further requirement is to Trim the Steering Knuckles or change to XMOD Gen1 Billet Aluminum Knuckles which don't require trimming. You also need to file the rear a-arms a tiny bit to give the batteries room to rotate. This is required for stock a-arms as well as billet so make sure you have a Needle File Set.

    ** The Evo hubs are too large and the batteries hit.
